Die Schlacht der Dinosaurier - 15, 18 & 20 mm figures of Mounted Armoured Dinosaurs with riders

In my endless search for 1:72 & 20 mm pulp figures, I had found that OOP boardgame Die Schlacht der Dinosaurier may have some figures, interesting for me.

Figures look very good and they are paintable.

Unfortunately brand new out-of-production game is expensive (125 Euros), but finally I found one a bit cheaper.


W moich niekończących się poszukiwaniach 1:72 / 20 mm figurek pulp, odkryłem że nieprodukowana już gra planszowa Die Schlacht der Dinosaurier może zawierać interesujące mnie figurki.

Figurki na BGG wyglądają świetnie i dają się pomalować.

Niestety "nówka nie śmigana" jest b.droga (125 euro), ale w końcu upolowałem taniej.

Question is: do they really suit?

As You can see: their height is 19 mm. IMNSHO they best suit 1:76. They can be used as small humans (Pygmies, malnourished cavemen, Homo neanderthalensis or children) in 20 mm / 1:72 scale. I suppose they could be used as a nation of giants in fantasy 15/18 mm. Maybe even army for HoTT?
Jak widać: ich wysokość wynosi 19 mm, najlepiej odpowiadają skali 1:76. Można ich używać jako pigmejów, niedożywionych jaskiniowców, neandertalczyków lub dzieci w skali 20 mm / 1:72. Przypuszczam, że możnaby zastosować jako naród gigantów w skali 15/18 mm. Armię do Hordes Of The Things?


I will paint one set. Second one is reserved for my 20 mm pulp friend. If anyone is interested, I am offering two full sets of 16 figures (of 6+1 poses) plastic unpainted armoured dinosaurs and 21 figures (of several poses) of human riders (you may ask for colour of human, I will do my best).

Each set cost 15 Euros + shipping from Poland, EU.

Jeden zestaw pomaluje dla siebie, drugi już jest zarezerwowany dla przyjaciela. Jeśli ktoś jest zainteresowany, na sprzedaż mam dwa pełne zestawy 16 figurek (w 6 + 1 pozach) niepomalowanych opancerzonych plastikowych dinozaurów i 21 figur (w kilku pozach) ludzkich jeźdźców (można poprosić o konkretny kolor ludzi, postaram się spełnić życzenie).

Każdy zestaw kosztuje 15 euro + koszty wysyłki z Polski. Dla zainteresowanych kolegów z forum strategie.net.pl duuuży rabacik. ;)

Who wants Feline head sculpted by me for 15 mm SF mech Okami (CMG)?

I have sculpted felines/tigroid head for CMG Okami mech, so they suit (as many have found) Khurasan Felids. Will cast them in resin. I may cast more, if anyone's interested.

Beware: they are sculpted by me in GS – so so, nothing impressive but works for me.

The head is similar mostly to panther. "Ears" are separate, so they can be glued in differents modes of activity: 1. "ears" up when observing; 2. "ears" to the ground and sides or behind when storming (needs filing ears a bit) 3. "ears" one up and one to the side. You know: "ears" are sensitive and delicate sensors, better protect them when assaulting- even small fire weapon may damage them...

I wonder if anyone would be interested to put felids head on Your Okami?

I do not want to make a money on them, just to share my love.

You would just have to give me back cost of shipment (from Poland,EU) and casting after package arrived. Future photos of them painted will be welcomed.

If anyone is seriously interested, I will put photos here…

I doubt if I ever will cast them again, so it's now or never offer.

15 mm canyon / kanion

Zadano mi pytanie, jak sprawiłem że rzeka biegnie poniżej poziomu terenu. To bardzo proste - mam modułowy rozkładalny stół i dorobiłem jedną wkładkę do środka.
I was asked a question how I caused that the river runs below ground level. It's very simple - I have a modular decomposable table and made one inside element.



To żółte to pianka motażowa, docięta do rzeki z plexi.
It is a yellow PUR foam, cut to the river of plexiglas.



Przykrywam to różnokolorową tkaniną (najlepsza jest żorżeta wiskozowa, jest tania, cienka, mocna, elastyczna i rozciagalna, brudoodporna i ma fakturę trawy w skali 1:100).
I cover it with a multi-colored fabric (viscose georgette is the best, cheap, thin, strong, elastic, dirt-resistant and has the texture of grass in 1:100 scale).



Kanion musi być wytarczająco głeboki, aby umożliwiać przerzut jednostek wzdłuż biegu rzeki, poza polem widzenia przeciwnika w oddali. Niczym okop.
The canyon must be deep enough to allow for safe transiting of units along the river, out of LOS of enemy's units far away from river. Like a trench.



Rzeka musi być krzywa, coby jej koryto nie stało się strzelnicą, niepotrzebnie ograniczającą ruchy jednostek.
The river must be a curve, so her bed does not become a shooting range, unnecessarily restricting the movements of units.



Można też wypełnić kanion lawą albo kwasem (albo wypełnić potencjalnie groźnymi miejscowymi zwierzętami wodnymi), co rodzić będzie problemy taktyczne
You can also fill the canyon with lava or acid (or fill in potentially dangerous local aquatic animals), which will cause some tactical problems.



Na pustyniach kanion można wysypać na dnie drobnymi kamyczkami i paroma suchymi trawkami imitując ued.
On the deserts the canyon can be fill with small stones and few dry plants to recreate wadi.



Jednostki brodzące w rzece są osłonięte jak w krzakach, ale muszą poruszać się wolniej. Nurt rzeki co turę przesuwa obiekty pływające, w mniejszym stopniu brodzące. Hydrofobowe kotoidy (Kzin/Kilrathi/Felids) niechętnie wchodzą do rzeki.
Units wading in the river are in soft cover, but move slower. Every round the river is pushing all floating and (to lesser extent) wading objects along its stream. Hydrophobic Felids (Kzin/Kilrathi) dislike swimming, and may disobey when ordered into the river.



Zrobiłem też wyloty kanałów ściekowych z odpowiednio przyciętych rurek PCV wypełnionych zabarwionym na czarno klejem dwuskoładnikowym, wklejając od tyłu parę szpilek do mocowania "wylotów" do pianki montażowej pod tkaniną. Wyloty kanałów łączą koryto rzeki z podziemną sieci tuneli (głównie ściekowych) pod miastem. Umożliwia to skryte przemieszczanie się do budynków, aczkolwiek tylko miejscowi partyzanci i Obcy nie muszą testować, czy nie zabłądzili.
I also did sanitary sever's outfalls with appropriately cut PVC pipe filled with black colored polymer glueing from behind a pair of pins - to attach "outlets" to PUR foam under the fabric. The outlets connect the river with the underground network of tunnels (mostly sanitary sewer system) beneath the city. This allows for hidden movement into buildings, although only the local militia and Aliens do not need to test whether or not strayed.







Planuje kolejny element, bardziej skomplikowany - z kanałem/dokiem portowym do 20 mm WW2/pulp.
Planning another one, more complicated - the canal / dock port for 20 mm WW2/pulp.
