Od Gujany Francuskiej i Karaibów, przez Francję 1917, 1940, 1944; Belgię, Norwegię, Maroko, Algierię, Saharę, Egipt, Libię, Czad, Kongo, Włochy, Korsyka, Dardanele, Syrię (powstania oraz działania przeciw Brytyjczykom i Wolnej Francji w 1941), Dżibuti, Madagaskar (przeciw Brytyjczykom w 1942 oraz ew. powstania Malagaszów), Indie (Pondicherry), całe Indochiny, wojnę francusko-tajlandzką, Chiny (francuska koncesja w Szanghaju), a skończywszy na wyspach Polinezji (pulp z ludożercami, typu "Opowieści Zlotej Małpy").

The basis is Esci Set 237 (Italeri Set 6054) French Foreign Legion, heavily converted and HaT Set 8148 WWI French Infantry (Early). For my love of HaT sets, this set is probably the worst of their production, comparable only with the Poles of 1939 and Serbs WW1. There also few excellent figures from Early War Miniatures.
Podstawą jest ten zestaw: Esci Set 237 (Italeri Set 6054) French Foreign Legion, mocno pokonwertowany oraz HaT Set 8148 Early WWI French Infantry. Jak kocham zestawy HaTa, to ten zestaw HaTa jest chyba z ich produkcji najgorszy, porównywalny jedynie z Polakami 1939 i Serbami 1WŚw. Jest też parę doskonałych figurek z Early War Miniatures.
Unfortunately I have not converted figures with machette.

Fezes, LMG and Tromblons I've sculpted with soldering iron. I hesitated about Lewis guns (for WW1/Rif War), but so many my other forces already use Lewis guns, so decided on strictly french LMG Fusil-mitrailleur Modèle 1924 M29.
Fezy, RKMy i granatniki wyrzeźbiłem lutownicą. Wahałem się czy nie użyć rkm Lewisa (zwłaszcza 1WŚw i wojna Rif), ale tak wiele innych moich armii używa rkm Lewisa, więc zdecydowałem się na czysto francuskie rozwiązanie.
The slightly stocky fgures are from Early War Miniatures: in the photo above LMG gunner in the middle and in the photo below ammo porter/assisant on the left. They are excellent. If You have no time nor skill to convert, those are the probably the best 20 mm /1:72 Senegalese Tirallieurs.
Te nieco bardziej przysadziste figurki są z Early War Miniatures: na zdjęciu powyżej środkowy strzelec km, na zdjęciu poniżej ładowniczy po lewej. Są świetne. Jeśli nie masz czasu ani umiejętności by konwertować, to są najlepsze 20mm/1:72 figurki Senegalskich Tyralierów na rynku.

Nie powinniśmy zapominać, że choć dużą część z nich stanowili ochotnicy, wielu służyło z przymusu na podstawie tzw. Podatku Krwi. (Chwała Bogu, że my Polacy nie braliśmy udziału w kolonializmie innego niż jako jego ofiary jako, słowami Fryderyka II Wilhelma, "Irokezi Europy" - a co, trzeba im nieustannie przypominać.)
